Biography – Richard H. Dalrymple, III

Rich Dalrymple has been fighting for the rights of individuals injured by the negligence of others since graduating from UC Hastings College of Law in 1998. He has a proven track record of success, having helped to recover compensation for his clients of approximately $100,000,000.00 over the years. Among his successes, Rich helped a catastrophically injured individual to recover an eight figure settlement in a product defect case against a major retailer. He helped an individual recover $5 million for serious injuries caused by the negligence of a large law enforcement agency. Rich also helped two separate dog bite victims recover a combined $2.4 million for disfiguring injuries in vicious dog attacks.  These and other substantial recoveries aside, Rich has the same passion, insight, and energy for each and every one of his clients, no matter the nature of their injuries or the size of their case.

While most cases resolve at either the pre-litigation stage or during litigation, Rich has successfully handled cases from inception through trial and at arbitration. He has represented injured individuals all throughout California. Rich is licensed to practice law in all of the Courts of the State of California and the United States District Court Eastern District of California. He received his undergraduate degree in English, with honors, from Sacramento State University.  He then taught fourth and fifth grade for five years before heading to UC Hastings to study law. Rich is  rated “AV-pre-eminent” by Martindale-Hubbell. This is the highest rating from the premier national lawyer ranking service and signifies that Rich’s peers rank him at the highest level of professional excellence.

In his spare time, Rich enjoys spending time with his wife Cheryl, whether they are hiking through the Redwoods or exploring one of the wonderful beaches Humboldt County has to offer. Rich and Cheryl are doubles partners on the tennis court as well.   At home, Rich enjoys cooking, reading, and watching live sporting events.
